Description: M.J. Amsden Furniture builds handcrafted furniture and accessories, we also offer custom upholstery, reupholstering and seat weaving to the trade and the general public. All our furniture is built using time honored joinery techniques such as mortise and tenon and dovetails. We prefer to use lumber harvested from forests using sustainable forestry methods and the majority of our work is finished using natural hand rubbed oil and wax. In the building of our upholstered pieces and also in our reupholstering services we strive to use all natural products such as horsehair, cotton, down and feathers.
